The Cliffs of Moher cliff walk looking out over the Atlantic Ocean.

Cliffs of  Moher & Sheep Dog Demonstration Day Tour

Journey through the breathtaking landscapes of The Burren to the world-famous Cliffs of Moher, where dramatic Atlantic views stretch for miles. Afterwards, enjoy an authentic Irish farming experience at Caherconnell Stone Fort & Sheepdog Demonstrations, where skilled sheepdogs and their handlers showcase a tradition that has shaped rural life in Ireland for generations.

Discover one of Ireland's most breathtaking natural wonders with a visit to the iconic Cliffs of Moher.

Rising dramatically from the Atlantic Ocean, these towering cliffs offer sweeping views of the crashing waves which will fill you with a sense of awe you will remember. As you walk along the safe, designated pathways, you’ll feel the power of the Atlantic below and the wild beauty of Ireland’s West coast all around you. On a clear day, you can view the Aran Islands, Galway Bay and the rugged outlines of Connemara in the distance. It is a place where sea, sky and stone meet in unforgettable fashion.

Afterwards, step into the heart of a working farm life with our host, John Davoren in Caherconnell. Experience an authentic, personal experience that demonstrates how extraordinary the bond between John, his four lovable border collies and flock of sheep flows. Set against the backdrop of rolling fields and rugged limestone scenery, you will watch highly trained dogs respond to the whistles and calls, gathering and guiding sheep with incredible precision.

Your host will explain how the dogs are trained, what the different commands mean and how each dog has its own personality. There will be plenty of time for questions, photos and soaking up the atmosphere of the unique Burren landscape.

Stroll out to the ancient stone fort on the Davoren farm for a guided or self-guided tour. View the limestone walls built by very skillful stone masons in the 10th century. Taste some delicious homemade apple pie with a cup of tea in Caherconnell restaurant served with a smile by their local, friendly staff.
